Saturday, April 12th, 2014

Question by anup: what are bimetallic thermometer and Pyrometer?
hey please kindly answered the question what is the principle of bimetallic thermometer? under what conditions pyrometer are used for temperature measurement?

Best answer:

Answer by artsupremo
Pyrometers arde used for measuring high temperatures ranging from 600 to 1600deg C.Bimetallic ends of two metals joined together generates small voltage in millivolts which is proportional to the temperature of the bimetallic end.

How can I make a bimetallic thermostat open and close a butane valve?

Wednesday, March 26th, 2014

Query by : How can I make a bimetallic thermostat open and close a butane valve?
i’m attempting to create a vaporizer, i need to know what kind of thermostat i have to get/appear for (i know that bimetallic method) that open (under 185 c) and close(190 c) gas valves. The gas i am going to be making use of is butane. the thought is to sustain a constant temp of 190 c with the continuous opening and closing of the valve when the ignition is necessary. Please support!
